Blog > KeyFleet Race Day raises money for local Hospice

  • by Christie Duckworth

On Friday 28th September, the KeyFleet team welcomed more than 30 guests from businesses across the Ribble Valley to an afternoon of fundraising, horse racing, champagne and nibbles!

£317 was raised for the East Lancashire Hospice throughout the afternoon from a combination of horse racing bets and raffle tickets.

The event was organised as part of KeyFleet’s contribution to the Hospice’s Corporate Challenge which involves 25 companies competing against one another to raise the most money for the local Hospice.

The donations from the Race Day now brings KeyFleet’s current fundraising total to over an incredible £1,000 – with more donations rolling in every day.

Liam Mulligan, our finance specialist, who single-handedly organised the afternoon said: “The event was such a success that we hope to plan a similar event in the coming years! We would like to thank all of our guests for their kind donations. We could not have organised such a successful afternoon without their support and generosity. We’re thrilled that we’ve managed to raise so much for such an important and well-loved local charity.”

Congratulations to the lovely Lisa for winning our raffle prize!
